After more than a decade in the insurance industry, our Managing Director, Mike Ryan, felt it was time for a change. In June 2009, Omni Group was born with a mission to break away from the traditional, corporate approach. Mike envisioned something different—an insurance experience that genuinely connects with people.

As the South African market embraced digitization and automation, the industry became more competitive, but something was missing: the personal touch. Mike recognized that while technology brings convenience, customers still seek empathy, understanding, and a human connection when dealing with their insurer.
